Join Girls Inc. this summer! Girls Inc. “It’s a Girl’s World” summer camp is available for girls age six to thirteen. Each week focuses on physical activity, STEM education, literacy, art, and nutrition. Campers will also enjoy field trips, swimming, and outdoor adventures.

Registration fee: $160/week (scholarships are available)

Registration fees include a t-shirt, two snacks each day, field trips at least once per week, and swimming once per week.

Early drop off: 7:00 am to 7:30 am (additional $5 fee required)
Drop off: 7:30 am to 9:00 am
Pick up: 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm
Late pick up: 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm (additional $5 fee required)

Weekly Themes

Outdoor Adventures
June 3 to June 7
Let’s learn the importance of being strong and healthy. We’ll go hiking, exploring, and swimming! We’ll visit T.C. Steele State Historic Site in Brown County.

Ms. Scientist
June 10 to June 14
Our young scientists will learn that they can take on the worlds of science, technology, engineering, and math! This week’s field trip includes a day at Wonderlab.

She’s a Wild Thing
June 17 to June 21
We’ll focus on animals in the wild and at home. Field trips will give the girls a chance to see and touch animals, and learn how they all help keep our planet healthy. We’re visiting the big cats at the Exotic Feline Rescue Center, and folks from the Red Frazier Bison ranch will join us at the center.

Powerful Princesses
June 24 to June 28
This week our focus is on literature and storytelling. Campers will create their own fairy tales and learn about folk stories. They’ll visit the library and make their own books!

Time Travelers
July 8 to July 12
What has art been like through the years? We’ll be carving limestone at the Monroe County History Center and learning about art in southern Indiana.

All Around the World
July 15 to July 19
What does it mean to “eat healthy”? We’re heading to Ivy Tech to learn from the students and faculty in the culinary arts school. El Centro Comunal Latino will join us in the center one day and the girls will visit the Neal Marshall Black Culture Center for a tour and also a hands-on cooking presentation in their kitchen.

July 22 to July 26
It’s a GIRL POWER week. Powerful and smart women from Monroe County will be part of the camp activities.
